Lucas Sanabria

Sanabria has spent almost his entire career at Libertad. The clearest sign of his standing came in 2021, when he helped the club win the Paraguayan Apertura title, one of the earlier steps in a run that would later bring him three league championships with the same shirt.

Before that run was complete, Libertad sent him out on loan to Tacuary for the 2022 season. He made his debut for the club on 5 February 2022, against Resistencia, and went on to feature regularly, playing 36 matches and scoring 4 goals over the campaign.

He returned to Libertad once the loan ended in 2023 and worked his way back into the first-team picture. That year turned into the most decorated of his career: Libertad won both the Apertura and Clausura titles, adding to the championship he had already collected in 2021. He also has Paraguayan Cup honours with the club, from 2019 and 2023, and lifted the Paraguayan Super Cup in 2024.

At international level, his experience is limited to Paraguay's under-20 side, for whom he was called up in 2019 and played a single match without scoring. He has not featured for the senior national team.
