Michael Andrés Fuentes Vadulli

Michael Fuentes did not come up through a professional academy. He was playing for an amateur side, Colegio Deportivo, in his home city of Iquique when coach Eric Guerrero brought him in to train with Deportes Iquique's first team in 2017. The move led to a professional debut the following year, and he stayed with the club through the end of 2021.

Audax Italiano signed him on a season-long loan in February 2021 and made the move permanent in January 2022, paying a reported €221,000 to buy out his contract, in a deal that, according to local outlet En Cancha, included 50 per cent of his economic rights. He played in the Copa Sudamericana in 2023.

In January 2024 he was loaned out again, this time to Palestino for the full season. He made 19 appearances across the Primera División, Copa Chile, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, scoring once and setting up three goals, before returning to Audax Italiano in December that year. Back at the club for the 2025 season, he found his scoring form again, with five goals and two assists from 23 league appearances.

Fuentes represented Chile at beach football in 2017 before receiving a senior call-up in 2022. He was handed his debut on 16 November that year, in a friendly defeat to Poland, and has one cap for the national team.
