About the player
Mihai Udrea grew up in the FCSB academy after joining from the Gheorghe Popescu football school in 2018. Between 2021 and 2023 he spent nearly two years away on loan, first at Unirea Constanța, where he made 34 appearances across two spells in the second division, and then at Viitorul Târgu Jiu, where he added nine more league matches.
His FCSB debut came early and then went quiet for years. Udrea first appeared for the senior side in the 2019/20 Romanian Cup, but it took until the 2024/25 season for him to make his Liga I debut for the club. By May 2025 his first-team record at FCSB stood at a single league appearance alongside two in the Romanian Cup.
Despite the limited first-team football, He has not been called up to the senior Romania national team.
