Mihnea Rădulescu

Rădulescu grew up in Petrolul Ploiești's academy and made his first-team debut in 2022, coming off the bench late on against Unirea Slobozia, in a season that ended with Petrolul as Liga II champions. Two years on he faced the same opponent again, this time for a different kind of debut: recalled to the starting line-up after a loan spell at Gloria Buzău, he scored on his first game back.

That goal opened his most productive season yet: 35 appearances in Liga I, five goals and three assists. It was form that made the difference — in 2025, Universitatea Craiova agreed a four-year deal to sign him, for a fee reported at around €400,000 plus a sell-on clause.

Before that breakthrough, his loan spell at Gloria Buzău had already shown attacking instincts unusual for a defender, with three goals. Rădulescu has not yet been called up to Romania's senior side, but he has represented the under-19 and under-20 teams.
