About the player
Moussa Sissako had a red card and an own goal in the same match against Tunisia in a 2022 World Cup qualifier — one of only four caps he has won for Mali.
Sochi took him in September 2022. He played ten times in the Russian Premier League, scoring once, before being loaned to RWD Molenbeek in September 2023. That spell was the busiest run of his career — sixteen appearances — until a tendon tear in February 2024 ended it.
His single appearance at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations came on 20 January against Mauritania, a 2-0 win. He was in the squad, and that was his share of it.
Sissako left Sochi in 2025 and joined IMT on 1 July as a free agent, on a deal running to 30 June 2027. He is 188 cm, comfortable on either foot, and wears number 5. No titles, no individual awards — a career assembled from short stays and interrupted runs, now in Belgrade.
