Rafael Eduardo Fernández Inzunza

Rafael Fernández Inzunza came through the Querétaro academy, spending three seasons in the youth ranks before breaking into the first team in 2019. He stayed with the club through 2023, with a loan spell at Dorados de Sinaloa in 2020 that took him into the Ascenso, where he made his senior debut away from Querétaro's first-team environment.

He returned from Sinaloa to establish himself as a first-team option in central defence back at Querétaro, and stayed there until the summer of 2023, when he moved to Club Tijuana. The transfer fee has not been disclosed.

At Tijuana, known to supporters as Xolos, Fernández Inzunza has continued his career as a centre-back. There is no public record of personal awards or of a call-up to the Mexico national team attached to his name.
