About the player
The move that changed the shape of Rober Sierra's career came in June 2022, when he left the Spanish lower divisions for Finland and joined FC Inter Turku. He made 14 league appearances there and did not score. It was his second runners-up medal: the first came with Ontinyent CF in the Copa Federación in 2017–18.
Before that, his path ran entirely through Spain. He came up at Levante UD and played for the reserve side, Atlético Levante, until 2016, with a short loan at RCD Mallorca B early that year. Ontinyent, CF Peralada, Real Oviedo Vetusta and SD Formentera followed, almost all of them free moves with no fee recorded.
Finland turned out to be the start of a run of one-season stops. In January 2023 he signed for FC Spartak Varna in Bulgaria, again on a free, and stayed until July, when CSA Steaua București took him on the same terms. Romania proved the most settled period of his career abroad. Over two seasons at Steaua, largely in Liga II, he made 53 league appearances and scored three goals.
In July 2025 he moved to FC Argeș Pitești, once more as a free agent, and has been a regular since: 46 league appearances and three goals by August 2026. Across his whole career he has scored nine league goals. He has never been capped by Spain at senior or youth level, and holds no individual awards.
