Rodrigo Manuel Bogarín Giménez

Rodrigo Bogarín scored eleven goals in the 2017 Clausura, sharing the Paraguayan league's top-scorer title with Walter Chuquén. It came during his formative years at Guaraní, the club that took him through its academy from 2010 and gave him his professional debut in 2014. He stayed until 2018, making 108 appearances and scoring 24 goals, and won the Clausura title in 2016 and the Paraguayan Cup in 2018 along the way.

In January 2019 he moved to Libertad, where he spent four seasons: a Cup win in 2019 followed by back-to-back league titles in the 2021 and 2022 Aperturas. He added 9 goals in 79 matches before leaving Paraguay altogether in January 2023, when Defensa y Justicia signed him as a free agent.

The move to Argentina opened a new chapter that took him further afield still. Early in 2025 he went out on loan to Mexican side Querétaro, where he made 30 appearances and scored twice, before returning to Defensa y Justicia in December 2025. In January 2026 he signed for Barracas Central as a free agent, taking the number 28 shirt.

At Barracas Central he has had to work his way into the side, with five league appearances so far, one in the domestic cup and three in the Copa Sudamericana, where he has scored once. Internationally, his only representative football came at under-20 level, including six appearances at the 2017 South American Under-20 Championship. A senior call-up never followed, despite reports in 2021 that he featured among an extended list of candidates for Paraguay's World Cup qualifying squad.
