About the player
Ilić's senior debut came without warning. On 6 August 2022, with FK TSC playing Novi Pazar in the Serbian SuperLiga, first-choice keeper Nikola Bursać went down injured and Ilić came off the bench in his place. 104 league appearances followed for the Bačka Topola club, and in the 2022–23 season TSC finished runners-up in the SuperLiga.
He started at Radnički Obrenovac, moved on to Obrenovac 1905, and in 2017 joined the Red Star Belgrade youth set-up. A short loan to FK IMT in 2021 preceded the move to TSC that same year.
His first senior cap for Serbia arrived on 4 June 2026, in a friendly against Mexico. It remains, as of June 2026, his only appearance for the senior national team.
