Cristian Yair González

Cristian Yair González came through Chacarita Juniors, making his debut in February 2019 and going on to play 17 matches for the Buenos Aires club, scoring three goals before his contract was terminated in November 2020. A brief spell at Chile's Unión La Calera followed without a single appearance, and in February 2021 he signed a three-year deal with Argentinos Juniors.

His time at Argentinos Juniors was shaped largely by loan spells away from the club. In 2023 he went to Houston Dynamo 2 in MLS Next Pro, where he had his most productive scoring run: 23 matches and four goals. A season in Uruguay with Sud América brought 14 appearances without a goal, and a subsequent loan to Deportivo Morón produced 21 matches and five goals.

In January 2026, González moved to Uruguay on a permanent basis, joining Boston River. He wears the number 32 shirt and has made three appearances in his opening months at the club, without yet scoring or registering an assist.

Born in José León Suárez, Argentina, González is also known in some records simply as Yair González.
