Amtat Fc

The MFF Football Centre seats 5,000, and that is the room Amtat have to work with in their first season among Mongolia's top clubs.

It began in 2021 as WARD FC, set up by a group of Manchester United supporters in Ulaanbaatar. Its first competition was the National Amateur Cup, the fourth tier of Mongolian football. WARD topped Group A without losing and reached the final against FC Kharaatsai, where they were beaten. Both finalists were promoted to the Second League.

The next step took longer to show. In 2025–26 they won the Mongolian First League without losing a match, which took them into the Premier League. Namsrai Baatartsogt scored 18 goals as the league's top scorer. Behind him, goalkeeper S. Batmagai was named the league's best goalkeeper and B. Ankhbayar its best defender.

The name changed just before the top-flight season began. In September 2026 a sponsorship deal with Amtat Tsamkhag LLC turned WARD into Amtat FC. The company is a large Mongolian food importer and retailer, and it also runs the Amtat Mall in Ulaanbaatar. The fans who founded the club now play under a supermarket firm's name.

In the Premier League the nearest opponent is FC Ulaanbaatar, regarded as their main local rival.
