The 2014 Federation Cup final came down to a Canberra derby, and Belconnen United took it 3–2 against Canberra FC. It was the third time the cup had gone to Belconnen.

The arrangement ended in 2006 after a falling-out with Football NSW; the club went back to the ACT Premier League and to the name Belconnen United, keeping the Blue Devils tag it had picked up on the way. A second league title followed in 2012, this one at home.

The men's record now stands at five league championships and seven finals titles.

Under Scott Conlon it has taken the Federation Cup twice, in 2017 and 2019, added the Charity Shield in 2021, and finished 2024 as champions of the NPL Women Capital Territory.
