The badge came first. When Dynamo Moscow put a women's side back together, it inherited the crest of the men's club founded in 1923 — but the team itself is only a few seasons old, and the amateur version that ran from 2016 to 2019 had already been wound up before this one existed. The professional entity dates from December 2021, and its first signature belonged to a goalkeeper out of its own academy, Arina Taranchenko.

That has stayed the pattern. The academy keeps feeding names into the first team.

The goals, though, came mostly from elsewhere. Kaylan Williams scored 24 in 67 appearances before leaving late in 2025, and no one at the club has yet matched her output in the Super League era. Yulia Bessolova wears the armband.

Home is the VTB Arena, 25,716 seats, the ground also carrying the name of Lev Yashin. The Moscow derbies against Spartak and Lokomotiv are the fixtures the supporters mark first.

The dugout has been the least settled part of it. Sergei Lavrentiev began 2025 in charge, Alexander Katasov took over mid-season, and Maxim Zinoviev arrived in January 2026 — a league finish that slipped from fifth to seventh.

Neither the Russian championship nor the cup has come to the club since it turned professional. Fifth place, reached in 2023 and again in 2024, remains the highest finish.
