EC Vitória Women

In the 2024 state final, Vitória went to Bahia's ground and won the first leg 3–2 after trailing. It was the club's third state championship, following 2016 and 2018.

The women's side is the newer branch of a men's club with a long history. It was formally set up in 2008 around players from a group known as Clube 2004, and played its first official season in the Bahia amateur championship that year. Women had worn the shirt earlier: an exhibition against Bahia in 1956 is the first recorded match. The team is known as the Leãoas da Barra and it shares the men's infrastructure.

The best stretch came in 2018, when they finished second in the national Série A2 and won promotion to the top flight for 2019. Lucas Grillo coached them there for two seasons. After relegation to the third division in 2021 the club could not meet unpaid salaries, and the team was deactivated. It came back in 2023, holding tryouts in April for players born between 2003 and 2009. Within two years it had reached the Série A3 semi-finals, and when other sides withdrew, that standing was enough for a place in the top division in 2026.

The opponent is always Bahia. Bahia won the first and the last, the last 2–0 in the second leg for a sixth straight state title. Vitória's only win in that sequence is the one that started with the 3–2 comeback.
