Corinthians Women

The lights at Estádio Alfredo Schürig gave out during 2025, and for a stretch the club shifted matches away from its own ground, playing instead at Estádio José Liberatti while repairs went on. Normally the team is at home there, in the Tatuapé district, on a pitch shared with the club's rugby section and reserve sides and known to supporters simply as Fazendinha. It seats around 18,500, modest against Neo Química Arena, the near-50,000-capacity stadium Corinthians brings out for Majestoso derbies against São Paulo and the biggest nights of a season.

The women's team traces back to 8 November 1997, though the project did not run in a straight line: the section was shut down between 2008 and 2009 and stayed dormant for roughly seven years. It returned on 27 January 2016 through a partnership with Grêmio Osasco Audax, competing as Corinthians-Audax until the end of 2017, before Corinthians took the team back under its own management from 2018.

What followed was a run of Brazilian titles rarely matched in the women's game: seven Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino crowns between 2018 and 2024, five Copa Libertadores Feminina wins, and three Supercopa do Brasil titles. 2025 broke that stretch — Corinthians lost the Brasileiro final to Internacional, the Libertadores to Santos and the Supercopa to São Paulo on penalties. In 2026 the club reached the final of FIFA's Champions Cup and finished runner-up to Arsenal.
