The state title came four times: 2018, then a gap, then 2022, 2024 and 2025 in quick succession.

They reached the final of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino A1 and could not break Corinthians down at home, drawing 0-0; the return leg ended 1-4.

Women's football at the club has started three times over. A team was put together in 1980 under Marianita Nascimento and stopped a year later when women's sport was banned. The department was formally constituted in 1983, once the ban was lifted. The professional side that plays in the top division dates from 2017.

Even that has its limit. In 2026 the quarter-final against São Paulo was shifted out of the city altogether, to the Estádio Alfredo Jaconi in Caxias do Sul, because Passo D'Areia would not hold the crowd.
