The club presented on 10 January 2024 was not built from nothing. Cortuluá Fútbol Club S.A. kept its sporting licence with Dimayor and changed everything around it — name, badge, colours and home city, moving from Tuluá to Palmira. The women's side arrived with it, having spent 2023 playing as Yumbo Industriales during a temporary relocation. So the entity dates to 1967.
The home shirt is neon green and carries the Cathedral Church of Palmira and a stanza of the municipal anthem; the third kit is white with a print of palm leaves. Away is plain black. Home matches are played at the Estadio Francisco Rivera Escobar, capacity 15,300.
There are no trophies, and no settled nickname either — the press writes Inter Palmira.
