The title came in December 2025, in a final against Independiente Medellín — the Torneo INDER Campeones, a city tournament.

Before that, the closest thing to a landmark had come in the other direction: a run to the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores Femenina in 2023, ended by Palmeiras. The league itself has been harder ground.

Daniela Montoya arrived in 2023, a midfielder who had captained the Colombia national team. Katalina Amaya came up through the club's own academy.

The nickname travels with them too: Los Verdolagas, after the plant whose colour the club took.
