Millonarios Women

The women's side did not come out of nowhere: it was set up as an official section of Millonarios Fútbol Club, wearing the same crest as the men's team and carrying the same blue and white that gives the parent company its name.

That first match came on 14 June 2019, against La Equidad, and Millonarios won it 2–1. Then the results flattened out. Sixth place and a quarter-final exit in 2022; back into the closing group stage in 2024 and 2025.

Since December 2023 the coach has been Angie Vega , the first woman to hold the job at the club. She inherited a squad built around Lina Gómez , who holds the team records for both appearances and goals.

The fixture that matters most is the Clásico Capitalino against Independiente Santa Fe, and for a long time it was a one-sided occasion. Millonarios did not win a single one of those meetings in the women's league until May 2023.

Santa Fe have three league titles. Deportivo Cali have one. Millonarios, through the end of the 2025 season, have none — the closing stages of 2024 and 2025 are as far as Las Embajadoras have gone.
