Llaneros Women

The women's team was announced on 3 August 2020 and played its first competitive match on 16 October that year, in Colombia's Liga Profesional Femenina.

That debut season remains the high point. Fifth place in 2020 is still the best the team has managed, and nothing since has come close: tenth of seventeen in 2023, twelfth in the current campaign.

The 2024 season produced the episode the club would rather not be remembered for. The match against América de Cali was abandoned when the team walked off, and the result was recorded as a 0-3 defeat.

Sandra Sepúlveda arrived in 2024, a goalkeeper who had been to World Cups and Olympic Games with the Colombia national side. Berly Villa Restrepo, who holds a PRO licence and has more than fifteen years in the job, is the head coach.

The press calls the team Las Indomables. Around the wider club another name has stuck for longer — El equipo de la Media Colombia, the team of middle Colombia, which comes from where the department of Meta sits on the map rather than from anything that happened on a pitch.

Home is the Estadio Bello Horizonte - Rey Pelé, once known as the Manuel Calle Lombana.

There is no derby. No rivalry has taken hold, and there are no trophies in the cabinet — not a title, not a cup, nothing beyond that fifth place in the first year.
