Once Caldas Women

The women's team wears that same badge, and inherited the argument along with it — though when the section was set up in July 2019 CONMEBOL had ruled that clubs entering its competitions needed a women's squad. Once Caldas needed one, and so there was one.

The first professional season went as badly as a first season can. Six group matches, six defeats, last of sixteen in the general table. Then the 2020 campaign arrived with the pandemic and no sponsor, and the club withdrew. It stayed withdrawn through 2021, 2022 and 2023 — four years in which the badge appeared in the Liga Profesional Femenina not at all.

The Liga Caldense title came in 2019, the Copa Feria de Manizales in 2020 and again in 2025: regional, amateur, and the only silverware the section has. Julio César Ocampo has been in charge since the beginning, through the withdrawal and the return.

They came back in 2025 and finished thirteenth in the first phase, short of the playoffs. Estadio Palogrande, 28,678 seats, holds them on the days they play there.

The parent club itself was assembled rather than founded. The white and black, and the name that repeats itself, El Blanco Blanco, come from that merger.
