That changed in 2017, when the Liga Femenina BetPlay was created and the club built a professional section to enter it. Since 2021 the finishing positions have run between 12th and 14th, with no quadrangular stage reached.

What the club does have is a record of moving players on. Adriana Ojeda captained the side through the transition to professional football and stayed until 2020, then went to Junior de Barranquilla and Millonarios before spells in Spain and Argentina. Belkis Niño left in the same year, also for Millonarios, and became one of the sharpest forwards in the Colombian league; she later joined Deportivo Cali. In 2025 Sara Valentina Noriega was called into the Colombia under-17 squad while still on the books here.

Home matches are played at the Estadio Álvaro Gómez Hurtado in Floridablanca, across the metropolitan area from the club's offices on Calle 56.
