Oostende

Oostende begin this season under a new name. Filou Oostende, as the club was called from 2018, became Coretec Oostende in 2026, and the arena is now the COREtec Dôme. Since opening in 2006, the 5,000-seat building has also been the Sea'Arena, the Sleuyter Arena and the Versluys Dôme. The club began in 1970 as Sunair Oostende, and it has carried a sponsor's name for most of its life. Supporters simply say BCO.

The club plays in the BNXT League. It finished runners-up in 2021–22 and again in 2022–23, then won the inaugural title in 2023–24. Domestically, its most recent Belgian League Championship and Belgian Cup both came in 2025. The league title went to Ostend every year from 2012 to 2025.

The Antwerp Giants are the rivals, and games between the two are known as "toppers". Many of the players who keep the side in it now come through the Coretec Academy and the Basket@Sea school system. Pierre-Antoine Gillet, a graduate of that system, is the captain, and Simon Buysse came up the same way. The club also backs a wheelchair team, Dukes on Wheels.

Dušan Đorđević, a Serbian, played in Ostend from 2011 to 2023. That span covers almost the whole run of titles, and the club has retired his number 20 shirt.
