Racing

Roda Antar took charge of Racing Club Beirut in 2017, and steered the side to the Lebanese Challenge Cup in both his seasons.

The three league titles that matter to Racing Beirut all belong to one stretch: 1955–56, 1964–65 and 1969–70. Joseph Abou Mrad played through that era, thirteen years at the club, and top-scored in the 1964–65 campaign with 18 goals. Nothing has matched it since — the Second Division has become far more familiar territory, won four times, most recently in 2022–23.

Home games are played some distance from the old neighbourhoods, at the Fouad Chehab Stadium in Jounieh, a 5,000-capacity ground the club shares with the town rather than owns outright. Racing has no fixed rival in the way some Beirut clubs do; matches against Al Safa or Nejmeh carry weight on the day without the history of a settled derby.

The 2025–26 Premier League season ended with Racing bottom of an eleven-team table on a single point, and relegation back to the Second Division for 2026–27 — the division the club has come to know better than the top flight it once won three times.
