Shahrdari Noshahr

Shohada Stadium in Noshahr holds about 5,000 people and was renovated in 2019, yet the club it was rebuilt for has often not been allowed to use it. Licensing and facility problems have pushed Shahrdari Noshahr onto other grounds: Enghelab Stadium in Karaj, which seats 15,000, Shahid Vatani Stadium in Qaem Shahr, and Shahid Dastgerdi Stadium in Tehran.

The club was formed in 2012 and took over from Shamoushak Noshahr, an older side from the same town. Mohsen Bengar, who went on to play for Sepahan and won 14 caps for Iran, came through there. So did Rahman Ahmadi, who played for Persepolis and Esteghlal and won 11 caps.

Shahrdari play in the Azadegan League, the second tier of Iranian football, and enter the Hazfi Cup. They have won no national trophy under the current name. Their fixtures against Nassaji Mazandaran are billed as the Mazandaran Derby, though the province uses that label for other local meetings too.
