Be'sat Kermanshah

Be'sat Kermanshah go into the current campaign in the Azadegan League, Iranian football's second tier, a place they reached by an unusual route: rather than winning promotion outright, the club finished fourth in League 2 in 2023–24 and then bought the licence of Kavir Mogha Tehran to take up a spot in the division for 2024–25. That move has come with a cost, and the club has already absorbed heavy disciplinary fines this season, leaving finances as much a talking point as results.

The path here started small. Founded in 2012, Be'sat won the Kermanshah Provincial League in its first season to move up into League 3, then finished third there a year later to climb again into League 2. The club carries the nickname Eagles of Parav, after the mountain range near the city, though around Kermanshah it is mostly just called Be'sat.

Chairman Afshin Hassani and manager Mohammad Mir Torabi now oversee a squad.

Kermanshah's football is shared with Rahian Kermanshah, and it is that fixture which matters most locally.
