Havadar

Shahid Dastgerdi Stadium seats 8,250. Havadar plays there in purple and yellow.

The name did. What is now Havadar started life in August 2018 as Persepolis Pakdasht, built on a purchased league licence from South Tehran Independence. It became Sorkhpooshan Pakdasht, "The Red-Clad of Pakdasht," and carried that name for two years. The club took its present identity only in 2020, when the Hirkania Technology Development Investment Company, once a sponsor of Esteghlal, renamed it Havadar, meaning "the fans."

Promotion followed almost immediately: a runner-up finish in the Azadegan League in 2020–21 sent Havadar into the Persian Gulf Pro League for the first time. A tenth-place finish in 2022–23, alongside a run to the Hazfi Cup semi-finals that same season, marked the high point of that spell in the top flight. It did not last; Havadar finished 16th in 2023–24 and went back down.
