Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited

Peshawar's cricket in the 2000s ran mostly on Arbab Niaz Stadium tradition, but Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited arrived as a departmental side, backed by the gas utility that carries its name. It debuted in the 2006–07 season and quickly turned into one of Pakistan's strongest company teams, gathering five Quaid-i-Azam Trophy titles between 2007–08 and 2017–18 and, later, five President's Trophy wins spread from 2012–13 to as recently as 2023–24. In between, the domestic system briefly did away with it: SNGPL was dropped from the structure in 2019 and only came back in 2023, returning to the same fixtures and the same rivalry it had left behind.

SNGPL's ground, the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, holds 35,000 and was known as Arbab Niaz Stadium before the renaming.

The club's roll of players reads like a cross-section of the national side: by 2023–24, under Saud Shakeel as captain with Mohammad Rizwan as his deputy, SNGPL beat WAPDA by 515 runs to take that season's President's Trophy Grade-I. Beyond the acronym, though, the team has never picked up a nickname of its own.
