Transinvest 2

Since 2022, that colour has been yellow, worn by boys who train under the Transinvest badge in Galinė, a village in the Vilnius district, before anyone decides whether they are ready for him.

The reserve side, known as Transinvest B as often as Transinvest 2, exists for exactly that handover. It shares the FK Transinvest stadionas, a 1,500-capacity ground, with the club it feeds, and it has spent its short life climbing towards it rather than building a story of its own. It stepped into the II Lyga in its debut season and by 2025 had gone one better, winning the 2 Lyga A division outright — a result that cleared the way for the parent club to move up into the A Lyga.

Promotion for the understudies came with a step up of their own. In 2026 they were playing in the 1 Lyga, a division above where they had spent most of their existence, and found it a harder league to survive in: they finished 13th of 15. There is no cup pedigree to point to; a farm team's business is rarely the Lietuvos taurė.

One fixture has picked up a name locally rather than official weight. Games against FC Hegelmann get called the "fūristų derbis" — the lorry drivers' derby — because both clubs are run by freight and logistics companies, a quirk of ownership rather than old rivalry.

For now the job is the same one it has always been: hold a place in the 1 Lyga, and keep sending players a level higher when Stankevičius comes looking.
