Radomiak Radom took all three points against Krakovia in a match that turned on a brief spell of activity. The Ekstraklasa clash ended 2:1 at the Stadion Radomiaka Radom on Saturday evening. By then the visitors had already seen their equaliser ruled out before the break.
R. Wolski struck twice for the hosts, first with a regular goal in the 55th minute and then from the spot in the 64th. M. Minchev had opened the scoring for Krakovia just before the interval. Fernand Gouré's effort in the 36th minute was cancelled by VAR and never counted.
What happened next shaped the evening. The home side threw bodies in the way after Wolski's opener, and Krakovia could not find a rhythm. Substitutions came thick and fast in the second half — three for each side around the 60-minute mark — as both managers searched for answers. The line has barely moved throughout, but the hosts had the sharper edge when it mattered.
Radomiak dominated the numbers on paper but did not always convert them. They held 55 per cent possession and registered 85 attacks compared to 65, yet their shot accuracy sat at just 25 per cent. Five shots on target produced two goals, while Krakovia managed 39 per cent accuracy from seven attempts on goal. The visitors created more big chances — four to two — but could not finish them.
The result keeps both sides in the middle of the table, though the gap between them remains narrow. Krakovia sit seventh with eight points from six games, one ahead of tenth-placed Radomiak who have seven. A win like this does not change the standings dramatically, but it gives the home side something to build on after a difficult run of form.
Yellow cards went to Amir Al-Ammari, Dominik Baumgartner and Otar Kakabadze, while neither side lost a player to dismissal. The match ended with substitutions still being made — Luquinhas came on for Krakovia in the 87th minute as the clock ran down. Three or four moments decided this one, and the rest was just noise.
