Dodoma Jiji

When Vincent Mashami took the manager's seat at Dodoma Jiji in August 2025, he brought a UEFA Pro Licence and a résumé built in Rwanda, where he had already won the league with both APR FC and Police FC.

The club he inherited began life in 2017 as Dodoma FC, named for the city that serves as Tanzania's administrative capital, though its formal registration under the current name is sometimes dated two years later. The team spent its early seasons in the second tier before winning Group A of the Ligi Daraja la Kwanza in 2019/20, a result that sent it up into the Ligi Kuu Bara for the first time.

Home matches are played at the Jamhuri Stadium, a 30,000-seat ground in Dodoma, though in 2024 the club had to shift its fixtures to Babati for a spell before returning.

Kapona Hassan anchored the defence that season.
