The draw meant they extended their unbeaten run to three, though the streak was built on nothing more than avoiding defeat.
After the match, Łódzy remained ninth with two points from four games. Wrocław stayed tenth on two points from five. The gap between them was now just one game played, not one in the table. Neither side could afford another slip if they wanted to climb out of the bottom half.
