Rodriguinho

When São Paulo brought Rodriguinho into their academy in 2015, he was eleven years old and still years from the first team. He worked his way through the youth ranks at the club, picking up a Paulista Championship title at under-15 level in 2018 and a Copa do Brasil crown at under-17 level in 2020, and a Brazil call-up at under-15 level brought a South American title in 2019. Rodriguinho made his first-team debut for São Paulo in 2022, four years after arriving as an academy prospect from Mineiros, in the state of Goiás.

He spent the next several years with the senior side before, in January 2026, RB Bragantino completed his signing from São Paulo, a move that closed out a spell of nearly four years at the club that raised him. The transfer went through without controversy on either side.

His time on the pitch has not been uninterrupted. A knee injury kept him out from October 2025 through January 2026, and a second, shorter knee issue followed in February 2026 — a run of fitness setbacks that came either side of his move to Bragantino.

An attacking midfielder by trade, he now takes the number 20 shirt at Bragantino as he looks to build on the first-team minutes he began accumulating at São Paulo.
