Kharebi Rustavi

Kharebi Arena holds 3,000 people. It's where a team now plays.

The club started in 1990 as Azoti, named for the Rustavi Azot plant that backed it, and won the Georgian title within three years. Davit Kakabadze rebuilt it in 1999 under the Kharebi name.

The Didi 10 title from the 2022/23 season is the club's clearest modern mark, won 24–22 over Batumi in the final with Guram Kandaurishvili named man of the match. Levan Narimanidze captained that side. Rustavi had come close before, finishing runners-up in 2018/19, and their sevens side had already won a national title in 2014. A run in the Rugby Europe Super Cup ended in third place in the Eastern Conference that same 2022/23 season, before financial trouble forced a withdrawal from European competition the following year.

Scrum-half Vazha Khutsishvili has carried the club's name into the Georgian national side, one of the few Rustavi players to do so.

Lelo Saracens are the rivalry that matters most to Rustavi. Batumi has grown into the other one, sharpened by that 2023 final, where a two-point margin settled a season.
