Polish Cup Women (Poland) 2025/26

The Polish Women’s Volleyball Cup (Puchar Polski w piłce siatkowej kobiet) sits as the second most important domestic trophy in Polish women’s volleyball, ranking immediately below the national league championship. Organized by the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS) and, since the 2005/2006 season, co-organized by the Professional Volleyball League (PLPS), the competition traces its origins to 1932 when it was founded by the Polish Association of Ball Games (PZGS). The inaugural final took place on February 21, 1932, with AZS Warszawa claiming victory.

Unlike continuous leagues, this tournament has experienced historical interruptions, including gaps during World War II and sporadic editions in the mid-twentieth century. It has operated annually since the 1980/81 season. The structure is a knockout format involving a preliminary phase for teams from lower divisions, such as the I Liga and II Liga, before merging with the main phase. In the Round of 16, the 14 teams from the top-tier Tauron Liga join the qualifiers. Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final are single-leg matches, with the final often held in a neutral venue.

KPS Chemik Police holds the all-time record with ten titles, including victories in 1992/93, 1993/94, and 1994/95, as well as more recent successes between 2013 and 2023. BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała follows with eight titles, while Start Łódź has won six. The current holder is KS Developres Rzeszów, who secured the trophy in the 2024/25 season after a previous win in 2021/22. The competition remains distinct from the league championship, allowing lower-league teams theoretical access to the main phase, though top-tier clubs typically dominate the latter stages.
