The scoresheets from Akad. Graz rarely stray far from home. Weiz, Leibnitz, Aich/dob, Hausmannstatten, Union ADM Linz further off, and, twice over, UVC Graz's reserve side. Graz sits inside it as one more team fielding both a men's and a women's squad under the same roof.

That roof belongs to Sportunion Graz, the academic sports union the volleyball section answers to, and which has run in the city since 1945. Matches are staged, most likely, at the Raiffeisen Sportpark on Hüttenbrennergasse, a ground shared around with other local sides rather than held exclusively for Akad. Graz.

Statistics platforms such as VolleyballStats247, Volleyball24, Flashscore and AiScore all list the team under the same short form, Akad. Graz, and it is there, rather than in any trophy cabinet, that the club's record lives: results tracked match by match through the 2025/2026 campaign, with no championship or cup run attached to the name.

The closer rivalry sits across town, with UVC Graz — a club of the same city but a different level entirely, established in the top-flight Austrian Volley League. Akad.
