Both VCH teams, men and women, reached the relegation play-off for a place in the Austrian Volleyball League (AVL) in 2025/26. The club had spent the seasons before that in the 2. Bundesliga, known as Volley League 2, the second tier of Austrian volleyball.

On paper the club is Union Volleyballclub Hausmannstätten-Vasoldsberg. Since it started in 1991 it has run a men's and a women's team side by side, and both train and play in the Sporthalle Hausmannstätten on Hauptstraße. The hall has a spectator gallery and a court of about 800 m². Akademie Graz is the other name in the region's volleyball.

Benjamin Dörfler, an outside hitter, arrived from the HotVolleys Wien.

Kemal Imsirović both plays and coaches. He came up through UVC Graz and played for the Austrian U19 national team.
