The hall is a school gym on Europaallee, the sports hall of the Europahauptschule, with room for 100 spectators. The side began as ATUS Felixdorf, became VC Wiener Neustadt-Felixdorf, and now trades as VCU Wiener Neustadt, short for Volleyball Club Union. In its present form it is a branch club of Sportunion Wiener Neustadt, formed in September 2015.

The first title arrived in that same year. In the Lower Austria state championship final, the team beat Bisamberg 3:0. The cup went less well. In January 2016 the men lost the Lower Austria Cup semi-final to Aschbach, again 0:3, and did not reach the final.

The Lower Austria championship of 2016 followed, and it carried the club up into the 2. Bundesliga. Before that, the opposition had come from within the region. After it, the fixtures took the team to VC Mils in Tyrol, to Graz and to Vienna, where hotVolleys are among the sides it meets.

The colours are red and black. The club now plays in the 2. Bundesliga and enters the Austria Cup, and the season's task is the one it has had since promotion. It has to hold its place in a division where most of the opposition has more money and bigger halls.
