Twice in the space of three years, SV Lindow-Gransee finished top of the 2. Bundesliga North; the club has now done the climb a third time, in 2025.

The volleyball side only became its own name in 2009, when the team broke out of the Regionalliga Nordost and into the second tier as SV Lindow-Gransee, founded in 1946. Green and white stuck as the colours, and the players took the nickname Das Wolfsrudel, the Wolf Pack.

Promotion has come and gone. The 2014/15 and 2020/21 titles in the 2. Bundesliga North each sent the club up, and three runner-up finishes since, in 2018/19, 2022/23 and 2024/25, show how often it has knocked on that door without winning it outright. Relegation followed the 2023/24 season, and Lindow-Gransee won the 3. Liga Nord in 2024/25 to go straight back up for 2025/26.

Head coach Björn Andrae took the bench in 2024 having played for the club the season before.

Bundesliga North for more than a season or two at a stretch.
