PSV Eindhoven Women

Eindhoven is a company town in the southern Netherlands, and its football club carries the trade in its name.

That arrangement lasted three years. When the Dutch-Belgian competition broke up in 2015, the partnership went with it, and from 1 July the side became PSV Vrouwen, a department of the parent club rather than a joint entry.

Home is the TenCate Stadion De Herdgang, on the club's training campus north of the city, with room for 2,500 — a small ground by the standards of the men's fixtures a few kilometres away, and one where the crowd sits close enough to be heard individually.

The first major trophy came in 2021, the KNVB Women's Cup. It was, by then, overdue: the team had already lost cup finals in 2014, 2017 and 2018, and would lose two more afterwards, in 2022 and 2023. Six finals, one win.

Under Roeland ten Berge, appointed in 2023, the collection has widened — the Eredivisie Cup in 2025 and again in 2026, the Super Cup, and in 2026 the league title itself, the first in the club's history.

The cup record remains the gap. Another final was lost in 2025, and for a side that has now won everything else available to it domestically, the KNVB Cup has been claimed once in more than a decade of trying.
