«BKTromsø»
Five Norwegian Cup finals in a row went to BKTromsø's men between 1981 and 1985.
The club grew out of a broader sports body founded in 1974, when volleyball shared a roof with prellball and basketball; the basketball section split off in 1978 to form a club of its own, leaving volleyball as the identity that remained. BKTromsø still describes itself as the volleyball club for the whole of Northern Norway, and it fields both an Eliteserien men's side and a women's side in the 1. divisjon out of Tromsøhallen, a hall that seats 2,500.
In Europe, the men went as far as the second round of the Champions League in 1982/83, right at the peak of that first cup run, and have had four outings in the CEV Challenge Cup since 2015/16.
