Queenborough City beat Tuggeranong United 4-2 in the NPL Capital Territory Regular Season on 5 August. The hosts extended their unbeaten run with a result that keeps them three points behind fifth-placed guests despite having played one fewer game.

The opening exchanges came fast. A goal at 16 minutes put the hosts ahead, then another at 21 minutes stretched the advantage. Tuggeranong United were not done yet.
