Baden Basket 54 opened the 2024/25 Nationalliga A season having finished bottom of the table in its debut campaign, and closed it third in the regular round, going out to BC Alte Kanti Aarau in the ProBasket-Classic Playoff semifinals.

The promotion that got them there came in 2022/23, when BB54 finished runners-up in the Nationalliga B and moved up to the top flight for 2023/24. That first NLA season ended with the club last in the table; the following year's jump to third marked a significant improvement.

They play in black and white at the Sporthalle Kanti Baden, inside the Kantonsschule.

Head coach Stacey Nolan took over from Eleni Kafantari for the 2024/25 season; the squad has since added the German international Annika Soltau.

No Swiss Cup or NLA title sits in the club's history yet. What does is the Aargau Derby against BC Alte Kanti Aarau.
