Loan Morand coached Nyon from 2021 to 2023, left, and was brought back in 2024. In his second spell the team won the Swiss Super Cup in 2024, then the Swiss championship, the Swiss Cup and the European Women's Basketball League (EWBL) in 2025.

The league title ended a wait of 41 years. Nyon's previous championship came in 1984, the year of the last of their three Swiss Cups from the 1970s and 80s. Before that they had won the league in 1973 and 1979. The gap that followed included a stretch in the second tier, the NLB, where they won the title in 2018 and again in 2019.

The 2025 team was built around captain Laure Margot. In the league the opposition was BCF Elfic Fribourg.

The club, known as NyonBasket and in navy blue and white with pink, the "Roses et Marines", plays in the 1,500-seat Salle du Rocher. It runs nine youth teams.

Nyon have won the league once since 1984, and the Super Cup only once, in 2024.
