Eskilstuna Basket went up on merit: the 2022–23 Superettan title returned the club to the Basketligan.

The club traces back to 1956.

Games are played at the Volvo CE Arena, a 3,700-seat venue. White and blue remain the club's colours, white leading on the home kit.

Eskilstuna Basket Cup has become the club's other calling card, a youth tournament run under its name that has nothing to do with the first team's league position but keeps the club's reach wider than one roster. On the women's side, Emma Gunnarsson's run in the Basketligan Dam around 2007 to 2009 is the name still mentioned from that era, though the women's programme has not matched the men's recent progress into the top division.

Norrköping Dolphins and VästeråsBasket remain the closest regional rivals, games that carry weight independent of the table. What the club has not yet done is establish itself in the Basketligan beyond a single promoted season — survival at that level, not just reaching it, is still the open question.
