Norrort

Täby sits on the northern edge of Stockholm County. That is what happened in 2013, when Täby Basket and Danderyd Basket, formerly Djursholm Indians BK, agreed to merge their senior and elite youth programmes. Senior play under the joint name, Norrort, began the following year, and the arrangement is still run by a shared council with representatives from both parent clubs.

The team plays out of Tibblehallen in Täby, seating around 1,000. Home kit is white, though the blue tied to both founding clubs still shows up on merchandise and around the stands.

Norrort itself has never lifted a national title. The silverware in the club's lineage belongs to Täby Basket, which won the Swedish Cup in 1985, 1989 and 1991, long before the merger existed. Since 2014 the closest the joint club has come was a run to the Superettan playoff semi-finals in the 2022–23 season; three seasons later, Norrort dropped back down to Basketettan.

Lisa Siösteen wore the Norrort shirt in its early years, in 2016–17, before moving on to Wetterbygden Sparks. The stronger names sit further back in the Täby Basket era, among them Tanja Kaukénas, who went on to play in the WNBA and for the Swedish national team.

Two clubs, one badge since 2014.
