Jeugd Gentson Women

Jeugd Gentson's women enter the new season in the Top Division Women, the Eerste Landelijke, the level they reached by winning the Eerste Provinciale in 2024. Jan Vermeersch is head coach, back at the club after a spell with the Kortrijk Spurs. Nele Poffyn assists him, and Wesley Wauters handles specialist training.

The promotion year was also the club's best. On 6 April 2024 the women beat Kangoeroes Mechelen B 66-52 to win the Beker van Vlaanderen, the Flemish Cup, and they took the Beker van Oost-Vlaanderen, the East Flanders Cup, in the same season. A promotion and two cups in one winter is not a common return, and the current squad, among them Sara Hostyn, Kim Beeckmans and Louise De Geest, was built on it.

Their home, the Provinciale sporthal Henleykaai, seats 190 and has been theirs since March 2019. Before that the club played in the "Leo" gymnasium at the Leopoldskazerne, a barracks hall.

Gentson goes by the name Amon Jeugd Gentson and is registered as BBC Jeugd Gentson vzw. The name shows what it was for.
