Kronos Women start the new season back in the A1 League, the level they last played at in 2020-21. They came up by winning the A2 title in 2025-26 under coach Socrates Papazafiropoulos. It was the club's second A2 championship, after 2018-19, which had also brought promotion. The team had shown its level in September 2025, when it reached the final of the Greek Women's Cup while still in the second tier.

The women's team belongs to a club that began in 1976, when more than forty friends from the Brahami neighbourhood set up the first basketball club in Agios Dimitrios. Today it runs men's and women's sections and youth academies. The women play at the New Indoor Gymnasium of Agios Dimitrios, which holds 400 spectators.

The academy supplies much of what the club can say about its players. Varvara Mylonaki won the Greek Under-15 title with Kronos in 2014-15. Angeliki Tzanetatu, a point guard, started her career there. Melina Papazoglou captains the Greek women's Under-20 national team. Academy sides have also travelled to the Platon Basketball Spring tournament, where they met European academies such as Bayern Munich's.

Ionikos Nikaias are the main rivals. Their meetings are known as the "Derby of the Summit". The closest opponent is Dafni Agiou Dimitriou, from the same municipality. The two clubs signed an adoption agreement in February 1993.
