Minsk 2

In 2015 a reserve side from Minsk won the European Youth Basketball League (EYBL) at under-20 level. They were the second string of a club that was not yet ten years old.

The title was not a one-off. The team came third the following year, second in 2016/17, third again in 2017/18 and second in 2018/19.

The team climbed out of the Belarusian First League, the third tier, which it won in 2007/08 and again in 2009/10. In the Higher League it took bronze in 2011/12 and 2013/14. Its rivals there are mostly other clubs' reserve sides, such as Grodno-93 and Borisfen, and in the city it meets other Minsk youth squads like Minsk-3.

It became Tsmoki-Minsk-2 in 2012, Tsmoki-Minsk Youth in 2019, and since 2022 it has been Minsk Youth, known as Minsk-M. Blue and white have stayed constant. Home games are played at the Minsk-2006 sports complex on Uralskaya Street, which seats 800, and the team also plays in the VTB Youth United League.
