Pasay Voyagers

The Voyagers arrived in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League with an expansion slot, and by their first playoff run, in 2019–20, that showed: the San Juan Knights swept them out in the opening round. It became something of a pattern. Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards did the same in 2023 and again in 2024, and when Pasay made it back to the postseason in 2025, San Juan was waiting again and finished the job the same way.

Pasay has fielded players worth watching even without a title to show for it. Jaypee Belencion, a founding member of the roster, became the club's first All-Star in 2019. Dhon Reverente followed him onto the All-MPBL Second Team in 2020, and Laurenz Victoria took the Most Improved Player award in 2024 on his way to an All-Star nod that same season. Marlon Martin has coached the side since 2019–20, having first joined the staff a year earlier under Cholo Martin, the club's inaugural head coach.

The Cuneta Astrodome holds 12,000 and doubles as home ground for the Parañaque Patriots. Both clubs draw from the same Southern Manila district and cross paths on the same floor often enough that the rivalry needs no further introduction.
